Girl Power...

So Game Art DMU has had some great news from some of our students:

First up second year student Lily Dunn was contacted by The Old Conways Association who were impressed with her 3D work which recreated the HMS Conway. The secretary was so impressed that she is going to have an article written about her in 'The Cadet' magazine.

Lily says that the Association has sent her paintings of the HMS Conway so that she can continue to enhance the work; watch this space! CHECK IT OUT ON SKETCHFAB HERE!

During the summer Denise Jones was commissioned to create this rather lovely comic strip for DMU Employability Monitoring and The Head of Careers has mentioned a possibility of paying her for further work in the future.

Last but not least, Polina got in contact with us to tell us that she applied to the 2015 Criterion Games Open Day as part of the GAMES4GIRLS project. Her application was successful and she will be attending the event at Electronic Arts in Surrey.

We're super-proud of all of our students, well done for getting yourselves out there and

If you have any interesting news that you'd like us to shout about get in contact and we'll add you to the hall of fame!!
